Marina del Rey knows how to celebrate the holidays like no other city around! Why have a regular old holiday parade, when you can have one on the water instead? This year enjoy the holiday spirit with Marina del Rey’s annual holiday boat parade which is set to take place on Saturday, December 10th at 12pm.
The event will begin with a family themed Winter Wonderland festival at Burton Chace Park that features imported snow, games, crafts, holiday music and other fun kids activities. The winterfest takes place from 12 to 6pm.
Right before the event ends, there will be a quick firework show at 5:55pm, to help start the boat parade. Spectators can watch from Burton Park, Fisherman’s Village, or other local venues near the water. The boats will head through the harbor until 8pm.
Parking is available at the Fisherman’s Village or the park for a fee. Have fun and bring a blanket and jacket.
