Running and training alone can be tough and sometimes we all need a bit of motivation and help from our peers—which is why joining a running group is one of the best things you can do to prepare for those upcoming summer races. Marina del Rey has a running group that meets on Wednesdays and Saturdays to get a solid run in and help people prepare for whatever goals they have set for themselves.

]]> The Marina del Rey Hotel will host in conjunction with musical artist Ryan Cabrera, the Wine and Music festival, on May 1^st 2016. The event benefits the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles as a portion of the proceeds will go to the hospital. The festival is expected to feature over 60 complimentary wines, craft beers, spirits and finger foods and is restricted to adults 21 and over. Tickets for the event cost $65 for those who purchase them early and general admission tickets will cost $80.

The music portion of the festival will include performances by Yellowcard, Nash Overstreet, Konox, Tyler Ward, Runaway Saints, Sophie Tweed-Simmons, and other surprise guests.
