If you live in Marina Del Rey, it’s time to “Freeze for a reason” with the annual “Polar Plunge” charity event that benefits the Special Olympics. The event is a unique way to help raise money for individuals with developmental disabilities to participate in the Southern California chapter of the special Olympic by jumping into the freezing waters of Marina del Rey. This year’s event takes place on February 27 at 10:30 am in Marina del Rey and all participants are encourage to raise a minimum of $50.
